Within 7 hours I will try to introduce you Prague as close as it’s possible. Let’s start our acquaintance with Prague from one of the oldest monasteries in the Czech Republic – the Strahov Monastery, which is located on one of the nine Prague hills, from where a striking view of Prague opens. And from here it is within easy reach of the Prague Castle, where from time immemorial there was the residence of almost all the rulers of the Czech lands.
We will cross the Vltava River on the Charles Bridge. Let’s stand at the chimes, go through the places where the execution of 27 organizers of the anti-Habsburg uprising took place and find out what scenario the Habsburgs invented to break the spirit of the Czech people. We will visit the Jewish quarter and find out why it was, thanks to Hitler, preserved and not touched during World War 2 and why Jews from all over the world tend to visit the Prague Jewish quarter. Let’s touch on the legends and traditions associated with thоsе people. And all this and much more you can learn and see in just a couple of hours.
