TEREZIN. LIDICE.
Been there recently?
Wise man said that those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. The Second World War left an indelible trace in the memory of humankind. There are places in the Czech Republic that remember well the events of those years.
- I invite you to pay tribute to the memory of people who fell victim to the Nazi regime and feel the history of their destiny. We will visit the concentration camp in the Terezín fortress, created by R. Heydrich, a man with an iron heart. The history of the Czech Republic was influenced not only by the life of this man, but also by his death. Also we will visit Lidice village, where Hitler got revenge on after the murder of that ” Prague butcher” and burned not only the village, but also broke the fate and lives of the people living in it.
